Re: best boat name
Any name on the side/stern of a smallish (23' or less) fishing boat just reduces resale value in my opinion. Do you know what it takes to successfully remove a silly name from a boat and not pick up a curse or bad luck? I'm thinking 10% of the value of the boat right off the top.

Re: Little grass grouper?
We have caught more juvi grouper this year than any other. Getting rid of the cajun thunders and fishing jig tails and flukes on/near the bottom will do that. More flounder too. Otherwise you just catch trout all day.

Nice boat TC! I would probably fall off with no rails and all, but it looks like a sweet fishing machine.
If I remember correctly, gatortrax is out of Louisiana.

Re: GPS Problem...HELP!
I also know they had issues with the newer LCG-2000 modules, but I do not remember any specific problems with your model module. My experience with the lcg 2000 is that they go bad, but lowrance didn't want the head units to feel bad, so they make those poorly too (2nd gps and 3rd head unit). I thi...

Re: Rebuilding an old Mercury
My 50 merc is a 3 cylinder. It could be any number of things from as simple as a fuel filter or fuel quality to carb issues or compression problems. If it ran fine before and has slipped since, then I would not think prop or trim was the problem. Pitch and trim can be adjusted if the motor has just ...

I had the bright idea once to bite off a small piece to catch pinfish. I had to lick the dogs tail to get that taste out of my mouth.

I read that the toyota prius hybrids are down to an average of only 3 days on the lot before they sell now.jsuber wrote:If fuel cost continue to rise, the auto industry will develop new technologies and then everyone will be wanting to buy the new 60 mpg cars and unable to sell their 16 mpg trucks.

Re: silly question
Google "Georgia fishing license"
I think they sell week long or year long out of state license. My year non-ressident fresh water license was $24. 7 day nonresident might be ~ $7? You can purchase them on line.
