Re: Antique Boat ID?

Based upon the hull construction differences lapstrate ( in the photo) VS plywood sheet check out Luger kit boats from the 50s or 60s for comparison. Luger was famous for taking a popular design and making the construction more bulider friendly for the home craftsman.

When you first posted the damaged boat I thought it was time to send it to the recycle yard. Congratulations for sticking with it and doing an impressive job.

I looked up as two were flying over and gave them a wave a received a wing wobble in return as they headed toward the lighthouse. Just to make sure I...

Re: Flea market

If the intent is to "swap" fishing gear why not use a monthly meeting as a swap meet? With alcohol as fuel and food nearby along with good nature folks foisting their cast offs on to others it has all the makings of a fine evening in an air conditined mosquito free enviorment. Our usual ra...

Re: The Ball Cutter

This is clearly a case of one-up-manship as well as the negative effects of reality TV. Our northern brethen seeing how much fun the Southern boys were enjoying "Noodling" for catfish imported the Pacu and populated the lake. In order to then up the manhood ante they used their best two bu...
