Re: Nathan does it again Lanark 6/1/14

The greatest part of this site is that I told him today he got photo of the week and he could not wait to see it. I truly also thank each and every one of you that post as it has improved me as a fisherman to teach him to do that which my dad taught me to enjoy all the outdoors. So if you hear Jake ...

So my boy has done it again. taking daddy to the cleaners with another big fish. this time in really muddy water out of Lanark again he pulled in all by himself as he was telling the story at the dock his first Redfish. this one measured in at 22" and clean one spot on each side. he also said h...

Re: Lanark 5\18

My boy is 4 now and has been fishing with me since he was really little. really got into fishing last year more than ever. as for the silver kings we did not see any, but the water was still pretty strong tea like in color so seeing into the water was limited.

Lanark 5\18

Well after waking up this morning and asking Nathan what he wanted to do I could just not refuse when he said "Daddy Let's Go Fishing". So we headed out again, this time with drain plug in. Fished out of Lanark again and water and temps were the same. after a few pinfish again, we headed t...

Lanark 5/17

Well my boy and I decided to head out and catch the high tide for the day on Saturday. We headed out of Lanark and after a few pinfish we headed to the first spot of the day. Water temp was good at 77 degrees, water clarity was very tainted and stained. worked the 3-5 foot depths with live shrimp un...

Re: Beau Turner event for kids...

Truly a great all around event. Nathan and I went and he got to try archery, catch catfish (6 all total) make friends, jump and climb walls. He even got to hold an alligator. He could not stop talking about his new fishing rod too. Highly recommended for anyone with kids.

Re: Lanark 4/6/14

The true story behind that pink rod is that I had to buy two of the Blue Wright Magill rods while at Sports Authority a while back. I got there on a day when they had put all their rods on clearance in the middle of the isle at 75% off. the clerk brought back two of the blue rods and put them on thi...

Lanark 4/6/14

Well since Nathan and I got into the fish on Saturday, Mommie wanted to have a shot so we had to go again on Sunday. Headed out to the same area, winds were up but the water was a bit clearer than Saturday. What a differnce in one day. Bite was off but Nathan came through with some pinfish for bait ...

Lanark 4/5/14

Well First real fishing trip out with my boy Nathan. headed out of Lanark at high noon, cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid 70's. Water was stained and very dark after one croaker on first spot, headed east to second spot. best decision made as Spanish were going nuts. Water temps were right a...

I have been trying and researching the same thing as I want something to park the boat to have more protection during the season without having to cover it each time. this is the best I have found but have not searched locally which I really want to do.
