I can tell you that they are going to be strong,the bigger they are the stronger the taste,if you are going to keep some way up in the fresh water then keep the 1/2 lb size fish to eat.

You wouldn't want to go today,it's raw out there,just made a run to the LH and back,wind must be 20 or better out of the east out there.If you go back try east goose creek,better rock holes and channel for winter reds once you get in it.

What about a flat bottom skiff and the fact they bounce around. Even with my (standard) batteries fastened down tight I've had my batteries loose power quicker due to the vibrations and the plates touching. I was thinking about going to a gel battery just because of that, any one have any thoughts ...
