Had a buddy in the bay today and the redfish bite is on but the trout are still a little slow. 10 Reds, 0 Trout. Its usually the other way around this time of year.

It never hurts to have some 3" Gulp shrimp on board.

Got out in the bay this morning around 10:00 AM and the wind wasn't too bad until later in the afternoon and then it really blew. Picked up a couple of dink trout in the shallow water and then headed off to the sand flats. Site casted a real nice trout I thought was a redfish and managed a flounder ...

I am gonna join the club, so I will be fishing the tourney. It has been kinda slow in the bay but maybe they will turn on today.
