Always smart to carry any where. Got to stand up for our second amendment right and be sure to keep your conceal permit up to date. I can assure you it's the best way to prevent a mass shooting and why we don't have them in the South!

Re: Depth reading flashing/blinking
Looks like transducer is a little high and should be on a more stable area of hull closer to the pad. If you are getting good down vu at lower speeds, I would just add a shoot thru hull transducer for when on plane. A thru hull or shoot thru hull is the most accurate way to get readings on plane.

Re: Depth reading flashing/blinking
I believe that's your problem. It's hard to tell from picture but it looks high. Also may not be level in water looks close to the V and not low point of hull. Is there a pad or second hull? Are those trim tabs? Need more pics.

Re: BASSMASTER OPEN FINAL WEIGH-IN
Kinda disheartens me that all those fish will be driven an hour away from the lake and put through that stress.

Re: Airboating to be banned in the everglades
I personally am not an airboat fan. Maybe if there were a spot for a trolling motor and they were not so loud. Though, I want justification as to why a right is being taken away from them. I know they do tear up grass beds and pressure game. I have never been to the Glades but it is on my bucket list.

Re: Need a little help
I would run that boat out to St. Marks reef or Ocklocknee Shoals and fish shrimp and squid on the bottom. He will have a ball.

Re: Am I crazy for wanting to try this? St Vincent bass fish
I bet they are still some bass up there. Largemouth are very sustainable in brackish water. Especially if you have any springs up there. Bet there are Gills up there too. Take some pvc and rope to make rollers while dragging your YAK.

Re: Interest in a Jon boat only tournament
I don't like blast offs or tournaments held at a single ramp. If you have ever drove early to ramp to wait on tourney anglers to unload or come in from hot day of fishing only to wait in the heat on a bunch of tourney boats to load or wrap up the banks. You would understand.

Re: today's find
I'll never forget several years back there was a family in Monticello that lost all there kids due to a rattle snake den under their mobile home. First, kid went under to get a ball and started screaming, then the other. The next went to get mother and they drug the two out with several bites, she t...

Re: Amberjack length requirement to change?
My question is why are they regulating another species that is not under populated? Second, there is no definitive science on the reproduction of Greater Amberjack to be found. It's all theories. I respect management, but recreational fisherman are losing our fisheries. Middle and low income familie...

Amberjack length requirement to change?
Do the guys making these decisions really fish? What science says the Amberjack populations are low? There are more than I have seen in 25 years. Why are we not challenging their science?
