If it makes you feel better I prefer the taste of rock bass over grouper for sauteing, but it sounds like the grouper won. I expect you to get the best of them next time.

After the red tide inshore hogs were hard to come by. The summer was either blown out or the vis was shot. In the spring small and numerous hogs appeared and now there are some larger ones, 7-8#s.

I had my limit in the boat and the other 3 crew had a total of 1 so I cooled the jets to make it enjoyable for them. :lol:

Does anybody remember the name of a fishing show a couple of years ago where the guys hunted birds in GA for 1/2 a show then went offshore fishing outta St. Marks the other 1/2?
