Re: AGP Marina Ramp
The ramp is open to the public, 24/7 and there is no fee. However, there is no public parking anywhere so you have to have a house or somewhere to store your truck/trailer. I've never tried putting in on a negative low there but I'd think it'd be ok. The only place with any public parking is the san...

Re: Yates Creek Wednesday Nov. 6th
I see the term "shiner tail" used every so often. Exactly what are you referring to and how do you rig them? Pinfish tails? How do you cut them? How much do you cut off? How do you rig? Just curious.

Birdsall Marine Locking 3" Gaff Holder
I purchased this for my boat but it didn't work in my application. New and in the original packing. It cost me $79 shipped. Asking $60. Pickup in Tallahassee.

2 RAM Mounts and 1.5" Ball
I purchased these mounts for a trolling motor install. All are brand new. The small arm and ball are new in the original packaging. The long arm is new but not in the original packing. I dropped it carrying it from my truck and it slightly chipped the paint on both ends. If you want to see pics of t...

Re: Yates Creek Wednesday April 17
I've heard of folks using "shiner tails" but never done it myself. How do you cut the tail and how do you rig it?

Re: Jaws Moment
Last shark attack in Wakulla county was in 1952 and in that one nobody was bitten. A shark was chasing fish and leapt into the boat, thrashed and then flopped out. I will play those odds. FYI, I was told by someone close to the family that the diver who disappeared out of Shell Point (Wakulla Count...

Re: Trolling Motor on Offshore Boat Install
Nice. I have read other reports of flexing in the mounting plate, but hopefully yours and the mounting will be strong enough. I put a large aluminum backing plate underneath the deck and thru-bolted it to the top mounted bracket. I tested it out yesterday, granted it was in pretty calm seas, and I ...

Trolling Motor on Offshore Boat Install
I just finished the install of a 72” MinnKota Ulterra on my Contender 23T. I bought the motor on super sale back over the summer and finally got around to installing. The biggest issue I had was trying to figure out how to span the 7+ inches of deck that slopes down to the rub rail. With the help of...
