Re: kayak fishing levy bay rd
Levy is nice for the yak. Straight across from the ramp is a nice little inlet full of oysters. To the right is a large creek full of feeder creeks- great red fish spot. the sloughs behind the ramp to the right hold flounder. To the left out towards bottoms road, there's alot of nice spots of grass ...

Everyone has something that bothers them- killing snakes for no reason is mine. Its an oppinion. I gave it. I assume Pa commented and erased it.... I did...

Re: Sooooo can you find the snake?
I appreciate PA and everything he has done and everything he does for this forum. He's a breath of fresh air everytime I come on here.....which isn't that much admittedly the last two years or so. So....hey.... its a free country, its not ILLEGAL for him to kill the timber rattler in this part of th...

Re: Sooooo can you find the snake?
Great pics OP! Beautiful detail.
Futchcairo- FWC would love to hear about you killing a world record length timber rattler.
Make sure to point out that you killed it even though it was no immediate danger to you. They love that.
Have a great day!

Re: kayak fishing bottoms road
Hi! OK.....I cannot give you real time advice on bottoms as I haven't been in weeks, however.... The shoreline on your left hand when you launch, all the way down to the point towards piney island is ALWAYS a great area. And its not just the shoreline. During the summer and fall, that flat will have...

Re: Suwannee bass
I always did really well on the wakulla at dusk with a spinnerbait. North of the 98 bridge, anywhere current was on wood. they bed deeper than largemouth on average, in the eel grass about 4ft. Now's the time to see them on beds. They will often be on a bed with a similar sized largemouth. Edit: wow...

Re: surf fishing shell point beach
^ this.
Also...its a tiny chilly to expect much at shell point beach right now. From shore, you'd be better off trying to fish in the rivers for reds.

Re: Piney Island, Oyster Bay?
Hit and miss. When its on..... its amazing. About a month ago its the only place I wanted to be. Put the kayak in there a week ago and it had cooled off. I will say this though, it LOOKS better in there this year than it has in years past. Grass is lush and bait is abundant! Had some great days in t...
