Re: Recreational Fishing Facts
Hey Silverking, why do you have to throw the wade fishers under the bus? LOL I consider myself to be a wade fisher and have spent a small fortune on my gear! However, I have moved up to the plastic navy ever since that bull shark ate my batch of trout.

Re: So who went to Bass Pro?
There is nothing in that store that I need or even desire to get involved with that circus! Those lines are crazy. If I need what they got, I'll get it at Crums!

Re: Texas catch and release survival statistics
Interesting read. Thanks for posting. So, it is basically tells us that if you don't gut hook them, they should survive? I will save the debate of what the limits are and which ones should be released for others. I am one that follows the regs of the State.

Re: Gigging Flounder
As KLONG said, BBB (Dale) is the Man when it comes to gigging flounder. I have been with him many times and he knows shat he's doing. Do a BBB search and you can pull up many of his helpful tips. The one hint I can provide is you need to be able to light up the water to see them. Good luck and post ...

Re: How to eat a snake
That's about the nastiest thing I have seen on this forum. I kept waiting for something to take out the cottonmouth. Do you think if you put one of those things on a hook, a grouper would bite it? I would love to watch that!!!

Re: Gulp vs Live Shrimp vs DOA
Your question is why they make chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Everyone has their own flavor, tastes and likes. I like to fish live shrimp first. Crum's sells 5 dozen for $11.00. I would prefer other live baits, but you have to catch them. Gulps come next and I like the new penny, but they all work...

Nice shots BBB! You did bring a smile to my face! My apologizes to posting on one of your " garage clean out sales" post. I didn't realize your post was in the "for sale" section. With that said, I do like your pillow idea. Also, you taught me all I know about flounder gigging, I...

You can also use the kids play mats that join together. They are a bit cheaper and are also easy on the feet!

Re: PSA - BUI uptick in local waters
No one wants intoxicated boaters on the water just as we don't want border line harassment from the officers who's job it is to protect our safety. Just as we have a responsibility to get the intoxicated boater off the water, we should also have a responsibility to single out the harassing behavior ...
