Re: July 23-24 Econfina Report -- Video Recap
Woopty, is that really you or are you messing?!?! I've loved the Sauce Boss (and the Ingredients) ever since the late 80s when I was at FSU. Re: Building a homemade Bait Tank ??
I use a plastic garbage can with an overflow tube about 2/3 of the way up. Got a small bilge pump to move water from outside or re-circulate when running. Tied down the lid and put a cutting board on top.

Re: Sharks or Gators?
Many years ago a friend of mine from Pittsburgh and I were fishing Lake Talquinin a canoe. He had been a student at FSU and had been living in the area for almost 10 years. I saw a five footer about 20 yrds off the weedline and pointed him out to my friend. He didn't believe it was an gator! He then...

Two anchors.
One with extra long line, and a fishing anchor with a buoy that can be easily detached to chase em down.

Re: Hickory mound impoundment?
Hickory Mounds has a small boat ramp, but you need a lot of water to get out to the flats. Yaks and small boats can do it, anything bigger and you'll get stuck.

Harmsway's link didn't work when I tried it but I didn't give up and am pretty sure that this is it... http://response.restoration.noaa.gov/book_shelf/1890_HistoricalSpillsGulfofMexico.pdf With all of us understandably alarmed, it did make me pause and wonder if we might not be predicting the end o...
