Re: Wakulla Beach??
I’ve walked out to the point to the west and fished the oyster bars going back toward shephard’s creek. Almost always caught fish during moving water, coming in and going out.

Re: Scalloping......
Longtime lurker, first post in awhile. Took my middle 2, 14 yo daughter and 11yo son, scalloping for the first time. Daughter found 1. And that was it. Launched canoe from H cove just south of K beach. Went out about a mile. A family of 6 was out there for awhile and only got 5. I think the rain/fre...

Re: florida keys.
some great bonefish flats there, and just north of there in lower matecumbe. Also, the channels under the bridges usually have tarpon all summer cruising on moving tides, into the bay on rising, back out on falling. 100lb+ fish are normal, would be a sleigh ride in the kayak. only downside is you ar...

Re: Panama City spots
thanks Chalk. Was a little further west yesterday, fishing a canal off of Eastern Lake and played with about a dozen rat reds, fun on the 4wt. Tried a flat near Port St Joe, loaded with bait and forage, water temps were cooler cause of rain, but no reds or trout to be found

Panama City spots
without giving away the farm, can anyone give me a few worthwhile spots to try in and around PC? I am shorebound or wading with a 6 wt.
I have to work over there Wednesdays and Thursdays for the next several weeks.
Thanks Guys,
Mike

if any of you have bought a redington crosswater combo, and like me, found out the hard way that the reel is a little on the fragile side, good news! The cabela's three forks reel, is the exact same reel, and is only 19 bucks. not a high end reel, but I have caught some pretty big bass and reds on m...

go early or late, be done by 10 am, or plan on starting in the evening to beat the heat. Big baits for big bass in 10 ft of water or deeper.

Fresh and salt 5/30, 5/31
Monday got into a bunch of small bass in PineyZ and later in a pond in Jefferson county. Fun on the 4wt, with a #8 BH wooley in brown. On Tuesday had an hour or so to fish a creek between SP and Panacea. Got into ladyfish thick, again fun on the 4wt. Surprised by a trout big enough to break off my t...

Re: Piers in Tallahassee to fish for Cats at night
Lake Hall has some good size cats. I stop in there with left over shrimp from fishing on the coast and can usually catch a few at night. You need to have an annual pass to the Florida State Park System (a great deal as it gets you in free to almost all the parks) and stop by the front gate to get an...
