I'm confused -- I thought TC was the one with the sore butt after a long ride? I must have had my facts mixed up.

I know this will come as a shock to hear, but I won't be able to make this one either. Visiting with in-laws in Houston. This has definitely not been the Year of the Fish for me. Ya'll cath 'em up.

The Tin Can method for successful flats fishing: 1) Go South. 2) Use any lure as long as it's chartreuse. 3) Make sure your shoes and bag match your dress. Never fails (well, almost never).

That's helpful to know but if it comes down to squeezing or not squeezing the tail to make it a legal fish, I generally toss 'em back in the water.

Actually, I shouldn't be whining about things. We caught a few fish, had some fun and nothin' broke. I guess I just had my expectations set a little too high. SC -- I already have the handheld VHF and GPS -- I just need to make sure from here on out I always bring them with me.
