Re: Trailer tire pressure?

My response was for trailer tires as that was what the OP was about, so no door jamb info. The max pressure on the side walls states 65psi cold, I figure the manufacture realizes what cold means and that the pressure will increase when it gets warm. You may have misread the OP. I asked about both t...

That's the max load psi. It will differ from what's on the door jamb label and the reason it's not clear how much pressure you should put in the tires.

Re: Trailer tire pressure?

I load my to Max cold air on trailer tires. I would also recommend going for Load C tires to Load D, when I did it made a much better ride and better for the tires. Load D tires 65lbs. So you put 65 psi in your trailer tires when they're cold? That sounds like a lot and then there's the pressure in...

Re: Trailer tire pressure?

Aren’t those inflate numbers for Max Load. I’m sure your running around unloaded so why over-inflate the tires? I run my dual axle trailer tires between 35-40. They are rated up to 50. Actually I'm probably "loaded" more times than not. :-D and there's a boat behind the truck probably 75%...

Trailer tire pressure?

How much air (psi) should I have in trailer tires that have a max cold rating of 50 psi? I always thought you were supposed to inflate the tires to max rating while cold so I've run 50 psi in my trailer tires forever and without incident but I accidently put 77 psi in a tire yesterday and it explode...

Circling a boat from bama could get you closer to something a lot harder, louder and faster than a top water plug. :smt005

Re: Econfina River Nav ?

If you launch at the park and don't know where the rocks are...don't take the short cut to the right! I'd still be sitting on top of those rocks if there hadn't been a very nice guy in a red Sea Pro that pulled me off... I'd rather run through a mine field than run that river. :-D

Re: GPS Format

Apparently the Lowrance App's coordinate search is not accurate! I was trying to enter coordinates into the Lowrance App before entering them into my chartplotter and none of them were on target. I thought it was a format issue but Old Dog entered the numbers directly into his chartplotter and they ...

Re: GPS Format

Just put a space after the first two numbers and it's in dms I tried that and that's the only way I can get anywhere near the actual location but the marker falls a good bit off of the actual known location so something isn't right. I would think if I used the right format, the marker would be dead...

Re: GPS Format

Thanks. I can enter them if I can figure out what format to use. Are they loran numbers and need converting? They don't look like the loran numbers I'm used to and like said, I've found they don't convert accurately.
