South Georgia Outdoors, wish you had a store in my home town. With service like that I'd never buy anywhere else! That was SUPER!
I'll also be looking for Sebile lures. A company who is honest will get my business!
Thanks for the post.

Re: Lightening
Thanks for the lightning safety report. My mama wasn't afraid of anything but lightning. It is something to be very careful around. We have all had close calls but when you can smell it....it is too close! I like the pontoon boat. Looks easy to clean. I ask a fellow what he did to clean his carpet. ...

Re: Pond Walking
Good report. Odd that your boss's house got struck by lightening. My preacher's home was also struck by lightening. It caught fire and the firemen did a lot of damage putting out the fire. Sometimes I wonder which is better. A damaged saved house or one burn to the ground? Hope I'll never learn!

Thank you for that good report.
We had planned to go but have an issue with our trailer. It was supposed to be fixed but wasn't.

I'm just an Old Florida Cowboy who likes to fish! What do I know? Could it be an example of "Redistribution of wealth"? Ain't nothing FREE! Someone, somewhere at sometime will pay. I already know who it is! Like Pogo said, "I've seen the enemy and it is us!" What makes me sick is...

Re: plainclothes
You men have brought up some good points. Being one that doesn't even like taking the keys out of a vehicle, I would have never thought of a hijacking on the high seas. However, it is something to think about. Did, by chance any of you men who attended the meeting with the officer, bring this subjec...

Re: Slow Down For Manatees
Thanks you CSMarine for this post. I'm not a "tree hugger" but do not want to run over a Manatee. We've been fishing Keaton for about a year. The first time we went out very slow and nearly got stuck in the mud not far from the NO WAKE sign. Then I noticed more experienced boaters turning ...

Re: some advice for a desparate angler, nothing specific
Here is what I've learned. --Every day is a new day. --You have to hunt fish. Because they were there yesterday doesn't mean they are here today. --Fishing for Spotted Trout. ----I like spotted bottoms in turtle grass. ----In large areas of turtle grass fish the edges. Always fish the dark edges. --...

Re: Ranger Cayman bimini top
Wish I could help you but know nothing about a Ranger Cayman. However, I do know something about Bimini tops. My wife also wanted one! We bought a CS and went with a T-top instead. It works GREAT! Seems you want an open boat. Have you thought about a large beach unbrella? I'd trade an open boat for ...

Re: Shrinkage
I really appreciate your opinions. Some good information I never thought of. Going to get me a good measuring board and throw back the 15 inch trout. So far we don't have to be much conserned with the over 20 inch ones
Thanks!
Thanks!

Shrinkage
Any of you fishermen know much about fish shrinking after being on ice? Last Friday, June 6, 2010, I caught a big trout while fishing at Horseshoe with my brother. We measured it on my cooler top which has a built in tape of 24 inches. It was longer that the 24 inches, plus the inch to the edge of t...

Nice report!
Sounds like you know what you are doing!
Reminds me of looking at candy through the glass and thinking, "How can I get my hands in the jar!"
Thanks!
