Re: Yamaha 90hp two stroke repair
I have the same motor. Same year even. Spring of this year I lost the #3 cylinder due to broken ring. Called a couple of places in and around Tallahassee but nobody wanted to mess with it. Just wanted to sell me a new engine. I'm mechanically inclined so I decided to replace the powerhead myself. Wa...

Re: Shout out to Covertime Upholstery
Jan is the man. Very good at what he does. He's done several custom items for me. All of them turned out great. Good work @ good prices. Oh yeah, he's a fisherman too!

Re: honda 130 parts
Looks like typical fuel line / brake line parts. Some auto parts stores can make something like that. Connie Liles Auto Parts on Orange Ave in Tallahassee comes to mind. Do you have the bad one to copy?

Re: EPRIB or PLB?
I fish solo a good bit so I went with the PLB. I managed to tuck it (and secure it) into my auto-inflating life-vest. And yes I wear it all the time, all day, til I set foot back on the dock. Once you get used to it you forget it's on. I figure to hell with locating the boat in an emergency, I want...

Re: New trout rules
At least the commission has listened to public input this time regarding the Northwest Zone split. It's a shame that the public had to inform the commissioners that the two "new" zones were very different from each other when it comes to trout habitat. They should already know this. What i...

Re: Errors in the trout assessment
It's incidents like this that lead a people to believe that the decision makers are using "junk science" to make decisions. Each Scientist that looks at the data interpret it a different way. So, if I'm reading this right the data is based on the number of eggs produced by a ratio based on...
