Yesterday Carolyn got the good news that she is Cancer-Free, NED - No Evidence of Disease!!! :smt041 :smt026 :smt041 This little girl has been through hell the last year and came out like a champ. And of course, thanks for all the thoughts an...

Re: Operation Racoon elimination

Bman, I've always put a little bait under the trap so they can't rob it. This makes them try to scratch and dig on top of the trigger.

I would also recommend this as bait if cats aren't a problem.

Re: What in the World?????

This is an absolute shame, but I'm not surprised one bit. I grew up in a small town in NC, went to the kind of school where both students and teachers would often show up together in camo after coming straight from a hunt. I was fortunate to be one of the last classes to experience life prior to the...

Re: Asking for Prayers - Update

Just wanted to share a quick update with everyone. Carolyn had surgery this morning to remove the tumor. They ended up taking out 3 ribs, part of her liver, and some of her abdomen muscle. 6 long months of chemo left. This fight has been hard on her little body, but she is one tough little girl. :th...

Just a quick update on Carolyn, she has gone through 3 rounds of chemo and is doing great.

Also wanted to share this photo of Jimmy Buffett praying for Carolyn, rockin' the pink bracelet.

Asking for Prayers

Asking for Prayers for my cousin's little girl, Carolyn. She is a beautiful, sweet, and innocent 4 year old. After going into the hospital Monday evening with a stomach ache, they found a large mass in her abdomen, with the diagnosis of Ewing's Sarcoma. It is very rare, only 200-300 per year in the ...

Just like an old time Monticello Mullet Roast.
My wife's grandfather used to do this for family reunions, church festivals, or any other occasion.

FSU spread

FSU is hosting the biggest mismatch in college football history this weekend. FSU, a 70.5 point favorite over Savannah State, is the largest point spread ever in college football. The man who is responsible for figuring the numbers said it would probably be a lot higher, but they have to take into a...

Here is a link with further explanation. Apparently with some dispute, he was estimated to be going between 70-100 MPH!! :smt021 Also, looks like the camera man (guy in the blue shirt in the back) who was riding along for this TV segment got the worst of the injuries with a broken leg, broken wrist,...

Any tarpon?

Any tarpon reports around Indian Pass/San Blas? A buddy is vacationing down there next week and was asking. In past years, we've always done well down there the week after the 4th of July.

This video was filmed about 10 minutes south of my parents' vacation house, right on the NC/SC line. There have been 7 shark attacks on swimmers in that area in the last 2 months!!! :o

Re: Fuel line deterioration

I had the same problem just a couple months ago. I recently bought a 1985 Boston Whaler 17' Montauk with a 2004 90hp Merc. The first thing I did as the new owner was install a water separator filter. When I cut the old fuel line to install on the filter, I fractured the interior lining into a millio...
