Dont know exactly how old but it shoots very strait and has a very good track record of kill shots the last number of years. I just decided to go to a 4.5x14.

I agree with Tom on the 22/250, shot my first deer with one and it dropped. I now shoot a 270 though, best knock down gun I have shot without the "shoulder punch"
