Re: Aucilla 12/26

I was looking at the info on those Solo Skiffs, and noticed that they can't be swamped. Supposedly the water runs out the back of the skiff. It has no transom in the usual sense. Nice concept, but I don't know if I could tolerate reaching back to steer with the tiller. Maybe with a tiller extension...

Is it the LC9S, or the older LC9 with a hammer?

Re: SHOOTING NEW 9MM

Thanks, Was considering the Glock 43 as well as the 42 for my wife, because they both get good reviews, and the Walther pistols are tempting. I have owned a PPK in the past. Was also considering the PPS, because it's so similar to the M&P Shield but nicer. It's a little heavier though. I'll take...

Re: SHOOTING NEW 9MM

What kind of 9mm? I have been debating on which carry gun to get, since I just got my ccw permit again after being expired for years, and I've been researching 9mm pistols.
I've about decided on the M&P shield, but the lighter weight brands have tempted me.

Re: Camping by boat..

Just looking at the Bald Point Map, but I don't see camping listed. Don't see any reference to any sites on Chaires Creek. ????? Can you provide a link to the website you referred to?

Re: Econfina 10/6

Perfect description. It fits our day on Monday also.

We fished from Live Oak Island to Skippers Bay, and there was practically no activity. We caught a ladyfish and a small trout. That was it. Saw redfish, but they weren't interested.

I guess the high pressure that moved in did it.

Re: Kayak Paddle Question...

It's not a lightweight one, but I bought one of these in the 9 foot length. http://www.cavinesspaddles.net/ProductD ... ductCode=K
Select the length you want when you order.

Re: Big Guy in a Kayak.....need advice

These are really ugly, but I have one, and I really like it. The reviews are really like an infomercial, but they are from owners that seem to feel the same as I do. I found a used one for $600 on craigs list.

Re: trolling motor for a yak

How many times have your pedals failed? I fish every Saturday from daylight till afternoon. In 2 years of owning my hobie. I have had 4 failures in approximately 100 trips. 1. Flipper broke(under warranty) - Would have cost $20 2. Bent flipper rod - It still worked and when I got home I fix it myse...
