Rifle Suggestions

Recently I've been given the okay to hunt some family land. It's mostly planted pines with thick under brush and thick heads. I have a few 100 yd plus stretches of trail to hunt that are pretty clear. I was planning on using an old 30/30 with a scope from when I was a kid. Thinking about an entry le...

Tow behind grill

My son's first birthday party is next weekend and it looks like we have invited over the capacity of my smoker. Anyone know where I can rent a tow behind grill?

Re: Charter for a Bachelor Party

4/5 guys aren't fishermen. So, want to catch fish, but are really looking for a good time too. A guide who can tolerate multiple guys who don't fish is a must. I'm sure most guides can handle that, but us having a good time is most important that weekend.

Charter for a Bachelor Party

My brother is getting married in Oct. and I was tossing around the idea of 5 guys going down to Carrabelle/Appalach for an offshore charter trip in the first weekend of Oct. Does anyone have suggestions of Captains to book with. Most guides I see have a max of four guys. Thanks

St Marks 6/14

Got a little later start than I'm used today (had my 9 month old boy with me and the wife). Put in at Shell Island around 9:30 and headed out of the river and east. Blind casting around some structure and landed a nice very top of the slot red on a 6" gulp new penny jerk shad. Also a few trout ...

Same here. Like the fit, seems like I'll be able to run wide open and still keep it on forwards.

Re: Cobia

Thanks for the advice guys. I get a lot of time during the summer to fish during the week, so maybe I can try some of the buoy markers and birdrack when there is less boat traffic. Also, I never fish with out a live pinfish freelined behind the boat. You're right though, lots of black tips and other...

Re: Cobia

BBG, you seem to be the local expert. I want to land a cobia so bad I can taste it. Well I actually I can't and never have and thats why I want to land one so bad. I fish out of a 17 foot flats boat most of the time and can't make long runs out of St. Marks on most days. Don't want any specific spot...
