Re: Hooked on Heros fishing day - steinhatchee

Finally got my crew of 3 loaded up about 930. Father and 2 sons all retired military. 2 AIR FORCE AND 1 COAST GUARD. Hard to believe but the coast guard guy had never fished before. Blew my mind. We headed south and found some trout, seabass and Spanish in 4-5 ft. Not a lot but they were happy. Sign...

Re: Fishing Reports?

Fished Keaton Saturday for a few hours. Kept 6 good trout 17-20 in and a few seabass.
Live pins in 4ft water seemed to be the ticket.

Re: Fishing Steinahatchee

White gulp jigged on the bottom seemed to be the flavor of the day. Live pins second.

Re: Fishing Steinahatchee

Scallops were out in front and just south of fisherman's rest Saturday. Also just out from Big Grassy.
Trout, seabass and flounder were found pretty much anywhere you could find some rocks and spotty gras in 7-10 ft of water.
Caught most of our fish out from Dallus in 10ft.

Hope this helps.
