Re: Crab Island
I've been there a few times with the family and just watch out for those you choose to anchor near if you have kids. It can get pretty ugly. I launched closer to Ft Walton.

Few years ago I had a German Shepherd that would stand behind the console while under way and would constantly get his head tangled in the cord and unplug it. With that happening a couple of times a trip I stopped wearing it...

I've floated the river many times and fished some with varying degrees of success. Shoal bass can be caught there.

Praying for everyone there. Please be careful.
Re: bent skeg
Chipped a stainless prop and banged up a skeg that I need to deal with. Rock about 100 yards south of Grey Mare.

I have an Engel 65 I keep under my leaning post and it is great. About 30% less than a comp Yeti. I would seriously look at the Artic coolers as well.

Re: Rod and Reel Repair
What is the typical cost to replace broken eyes on spinning rods? I've got three "mid-grade" rods that unfortunately came with really poor quality eyes.

Re: Let’s talk coolers
I keep an Engel 65 Roto Molded cooler in my boat. It's been in there for 6 or 7 years and it's been great.
