Turn AC off?
I have been trying to dial in my thermostat to the perfect settings so that I am being as conversative as possible on cost. Folks have told me to turn it way up when I am not home and others have suggested just to turn it up a few degrees. What have you all done that has proven to be most efficient?...

Re: Line color - What do you all use?
thanks everyone. I passed on the Kanzen, so i am glad to get that feedback. I bought a spool of Ande 15# mono. It is sort of a blue color which i think will work well. not see easy for me to see, but i think low-vis for the fish. I will be fishing out of st marks super early on the morning of this s...

Line color - What do you all use?
I imagine that you would want to use a line that blends with the water color. I fish mostly Lanark and St Marks, so would it be safe to get a green colored line? Bass Pro has a nice sale and Id like to pick some up. I spolled my main reel with 12# Seaguar Blue label. I bought 200 yds and didnt put e...

Re: Cape San Blas
We had a big group of people and so we didn't venture off too far. I wish we had gotten into the deeper water.

Re: Cape San Blas
We used the ramp in the state park. Fished the flats but suffered due to the warm water. One keeper trout, some shorts a flounder and some bluefish.

Cape San Blas
Anyone have any feedback on the fishing near cape san blas? I will be visiting family that will be camping for the weekend and wouldn't mind taking some gear to give them something to throw on the grill.

what to expect in mid september
Well, it will be mid Sept before I have the opportunity to get back out on the water. Being new to fishing this area, what can I expect the fishing to be like that time of year in either Lanark or St Marks? I really need to hurry up and retire so I can fish more often.

Re: St Marks 8/16
Wish we had a better report. Either way it was a good time. We got to the landing in St Marks at about 8am. Very clear out, reasonable temperature and calm water. Went straight to the oyster bars as we saw a lot of mullet hopping out of the water. Tossed out my chartreuse Heddon Super Spook parallel...

St Marks 8/16
Friends: After too long of a wait, me and my brother in law are getting back out to do some fishing. We are giving St Marks a go, after not having great luck anywhere else. I have heard that there is a spot to the right, right out of the river that some have seen some bull reds pod up and feed where...

Re: Lake Sinclair
I figure i would give you guys an update on my expereince on Lake Sinclair. There was alot of rec boaters out there - skiing, tubing, etc. so our fishing was just at random in between beers. We caught alot of small cats and bream in the shallower (5ft) water on crickets and one nice cahaba that i fo...
