saturday & sunday
It was still overcast but not as bad as saturday. You could see into the water just a little bit. Don't want it too sunny. Topwater is better if it is cloudy. It was a very slow tide which allowed us to work out a area thoroughly. Hope this info helps.

They're baaaack!!!
Yup, the trout are back. Judging from the color of them they have been offshore. They are hungry too. Topwater, straight grubs or Equalizers. They're back, they're back they're back. Yippee, hooray.

Toms' numbers are really accurate. If your boat is fast enough you can run that route in one foot of water coming or going with no problem. Going out from Toms' last mark ,line up with the first rack and do not slow down until your bottom machine reads 3 feet or more. Otherwise you will still be wai...

Me,my brother and friend Steve(Basshole)Brawner left Econfina at 7 o'clock Sunday morning. Calm winds ,actually no winds. Lot's of trout interested in topwater ,boated several with one 19 inch keeper got a couple more 17-18" keepers on that spot. Moved a ways, mixed topwater and grubs, one 23&qu...
