Re: St. George Island bridge 4/9/16 report

A friend used to eat them all the time. Soaked the fillets in milk overnight. They said they tasted great.

Re: Wevens / Sopchoppy Redneck

Well then, Hello W. It's been a long time since you helped set up our daughter's wedding on the beach. Your Mrs.'s work is growing our family. Two more grandchildren nowadays. I thank you both again. If you are back to fishing we would love to take you out with us on a trip this summer. Take care.

Maybe that's the way the big dogs want it so if we want snapper we just buy it from the barons. Sad but true. That ...

Re: Time for Anglers to Make a Stand Against 'Sea Lords'

The situation is despicable and the crushing effect upon recreational Gulf fishing is being felt all along the coast by communities that depend upon recreational dollars being spent in their towns. There should be no commercial harvest of any species until recreational anglers are afforded historic ...

Re: Now you are FORCED to take a survey to get a license

It's my understanding Louisiana has been surveying and are finding the feds best scientific information guesses are way over what LA is finding in actual surveys. It's not perfect but it's better than what we have with the feds. I'm all for helping the Gulf States get back control of the Gulf and r...

Re: Now you are FORCED to take a survey to get a license

They are to ignorant or crooked to ban commercial fishing. It solves all the problems or go to a tag system. The gulf produces the largest recreational fishing profits in the world and these federal/state officials are ruining it. Most recreational fisherman keep less grouper and snapper than a com...

Re: Red Snapper meeting

Mr. EddieJoe, all of your points are well made. I now believe there shouldn't be fishing for profit when sportsmen can not fish for recreation and keep some of their catch for dinner.
