Same here, SK, have the pass. Will put some flies on it.silverking wrote:Never noticed that, but I buy an annual pass so don't ever mess with the daily ramp fee.
Glad the box and owner are soon to be reunited!

Re: Found Fly Box
Glad they are making their way back to you.. I’m not into fly fishing yet, but I’m well aware of the art and passion. There has been some flys out at the Shell Point ramp on the pad, I always stop and admire them. Usually pick up a few that have been blown off and put them back. Sent from my iPhone...

Update - Just got a call from Will, and will be getting the box back. Appears just to be a mix up or whatever. St. Anthony always has my back.

Re: Found Fly Box
I lost 2 boxesThursday at Shell Pt. Discovered just today as we were about to go out. Figured they bounced off the deck as i was hightailing in from storm or at the ramp when i took off, it was raining hard and was in a hurry.

Haven't fished Bald Point for awhile, but enjoy it. What success I've had has been on an outgoing. Good luck.

Re: Smooth Puffers
I remember first one i caught, was on the fly. Got it out of the water to unhook, that's when it started inflating. Startled me as I didn't know what it was, LOL. Laughed my butt off at myself for doing a two step!!

Re: Franklin County Ramps
I wonder how much their tax revenue has changed since closing ramps to us deplorable's? The lock down across the nation has had to severely hit tax revenue to states and local governments. They can't print money like DC. Would think they would be wanting commerce, not squelching it.

Panacea
Got out Wed. at Panacea. Greeted by 2-3 footer with occasional 4's, or so it seemed. Got better as day went. A couple nice trout and some ladyfish. One bluefish that had bait in its mouth and still went for the fly. Just a snapper, but a feisty one. Anyone have advice as to where to target some jack...
