Re: Panacea 12-6 & 12-7
Thanks Dixie Reb. We had kind of struggled for a few weeks so it was nice to get back on them. Luceror, I bet I know where you're talking about out of Bottoms. One of the few places I know of that high tide is the best time to fish the grass line. Nice catch!

Panacea 12-6 & 12-7
Fished Panacea Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was not a good day for me. Couldn't catch any bait, couldn't find any fish, wind was blowing lime a hurricane, extremely low tide had me fighting to keep from walking. Called it quits about 5:00. My son comes in with one 19"red. Said fish were thick ...

Trout Question
I started my salt water fishing addiction in a bay boat out from Keaton Beach catching trout on SA grubs, shrimp, or the occasional pinfish. I was hooked after the first trip. I have since moved to Wakulla County and can fish 3-5 times a week (except during the ridiculous daylight savings time tortu...

Panacea 11-7-15
Another great day on the water. We were a little late (Or so I though) getting on the water and missed the beginning of the incoming tide. It looked like it was near high tide already 2 hours before it was. Paddled to an area I had not fished before. Caught three pin fish quickly and started looking...

Florida Statute 790.25 Allows open carry of a fireman under certain circumstances. Below is what allows me to open carry without a permit.

Bman. Probably wouldn't even consider it if not a Glock. I can completely break it down, clean it, and reassemble in 15 minutes. First gun I've ever owned that doesn't have so many springs, levers, pins, and specialty head screws that you need a PHD to take apart. It gets cleaned weekly.

Panacea 10-31-15
Not our best day today. Wind was brutal. Current was pulling opposite of wind. Managed one barely in the slot red. Did meet a few other kayak fishers who offered advice. Outfished the son for once, but I'd rather him catch than me. Wind blown and worn out but it Still beats yard work![ http://i292.p...

Think we're going to make the ride over that way tomorrow. Hopefully we'll find them.

I pretend to be aggravated but actually couldn't be prouder of him. He's gone way beyond my fishing ability without help from guides or really anybody other than using the Internet.

Panacea 10-30-15
Decided to do a quick late afternoon warm up in Panacea after work. Didn't expect much wth high tide at 6:43. Saw plenty of bait and heard plenty of reds in the reeds but couldn't connect. Figured my son had the same luck. Met at ramp and he had a 21" red 16" trout and released 2 18" ...

Apalahicola National Forest 10-24-15
Found a few nice secluded ponds in the ANF. Fished one Sunday afternoon around 4:00. No luck for me but my son hooked a nice 6-7 pound largemouth. Caught on a white fluke with no weight I threw a simulated crawfish all afternoon with nothing! Oh well, at least Im the one who taught him how to fish!

Re: Keaton 10/24/15
Think we may head over that way Saturday. I learned to fish the flats out of Keaton, but in a bay boat. How far out in kayaks to reach 4' approximately?

Re: Panacea 10-17-15
We fish all around what I'd call Dickerson bay. Pretty much from Levy to Purify creek. All have produced but just when I think we've got them figured out, we can't catch a thing. I do wish I was a site sponsor and could post pics. We've done well for only living here a year. I'd say at least 20 keep...
