Re: Trout at the power plant?
I've always been curious... I know where the power plant is, but I don't know how people fish it. Is it in the main part of the river by the rocks? As I recall it's about 15 ft deep right there. Do folks fish popping corks or on the bottom?

Re: Creek Fishing
A buddy texted me the other day saying they caught over 100 Reds last weekend targeting Creek and river outlets. I'm sure the numbers are inflated, so it was probably more like 20, but still.

Re: Who's catching?
I think I caught the same puffer fish east of St. Marks yesterday. We had a very similar day. 2 keeper trout and 2 rock bass. Lots of 14.99 inch fish. them puffers eat good! We got into them on the shoals a while back. Vicious little fighters that destroy popping corks and artificials, but this the...

Re: Who's catching?
Ended up launching out of Rock Landing instead of St. Marks. Weather was perfect. Fished the incoming time, and only caught a few short trout and some catfish. At high tide we went in to get more bait and then relocated to fish the outgoing tide. Ended up catching about 20 trout altogether, with onl...

Re: Who's catching?
Four of us fishing last Saturday 8:30 am for 3 hours, falling tide; and then 2 hours, rising tide in the afternoon after 4pm....shrimp and nuclear chicken gulp were about equal catching, but less pin fish bother on the gulp. Water was murky, 79 degrees am , 81 degrees pm. Fishing was better in the ...

Re: Who's catching?
After being on a fishing hiatus for the last few months (due to circumstances beyond my control) I'm planning on hitting the water this weekend. Is anybody catching Reds or trout in the St. Marks area? Not looking for locations just curious about how the inshore bite is these days. We are planning ...

Re: Who's catching?
Incoming tides or outgoing? Or did it matter? I'm hoping to get out on a slack tide early and fish until high tide.

Re: Craigslist rant
I found a boat on craigslist a while back. Texted the guy and told him I was coming by on Saturday to take a look at it. Original posted price was 4200. My buddy and I go up early on Saturday and drove the 2 and one half hours to look at it. By the time we got there the owner raised the price to 460...

Re: Fished recently at Alligator Point?
I haven't been there recently but a friend of mine went last weekend with no luck. Although he said the wind was so bad they could hardly fish it.DEADLYMNM7 wrote:Has anyone fished recently at Alligator Point?
