Man, I really wish we had mature snook and jacks in the northern big bend area. I caught a 2lb jack south of Steinhatchee over the weekend and he fought like a freight train for his size. There were sharks all over the flats when we were there. Bait was everywhere, so I guess that brought in the sharks. Opening the bail and letting the fish escape sounds like a good plan.
