Re: Creek mouth fishing

The kayaks are in the channel (perhaps they could/should be elsewhere so as not to impede any motorized vessels). The boat is in the channel. I'm assuming the depth of the channel is adequate enough for the boat to navigate at a reduced rate of speed. So,...as the boater sees and approaches the kay...

Re: Taylor Counties Annual Kayak tourny

Suggestions for the future:

1. clearly state ALL the tournament rules in print and make them available to all potential participants prior to entry.

Re: Creek mouth fishing

By law it is illegal to operate a vessel in a manner to interfere with safe navigation, padding kayaks down the channel would fall into that category. That’s a stretch 5 wide across the channel? First it was "6 wide", now it's "5 wide". Either or, I'll just refer to them as the ...

...Now a kakyer deciding to paddle down the main channel of the steinhatchee river deserves to be swamped... A kayaker in the main channel of the Steinhatchee River is "asking for trouble" and should know better. But bear in mind some are newbies: over time I've seen some boaters (I assum...
