I too have a 600L and have experienced the same frustration as plumbbob. Are there any sites or books that you are aware of that I can goto/get that go into great detail about reading color bottom machines?

You don't happen to have the model number, brand name or something that I can use to find these on the Bass Pro site do you? I put "sabiki rods" into the search engine on their site and got every kind of rod they sell except sabiki rods.
