went out monday was in 50 feet of water caught snapper on lys was anchored and had what i assume to be a monster king fish just chilling under the boat tried a silver spoon and live pins but wouldnt take it. even moved the boat 30-40 yards and it followed stayed right under the boat also caught gags...

Been going out of carrabelle now and only problem I run into is catching bait before we shoot offshore. I throw a 10 foot cast net and also have a 16 foot net. well read the weather that day said 20 mph winds and 3-6 foot waves.... so got a friend and decided to go fishing. hit the water at about 9:45 wind was noticeable heading out the river and it tide was extremely low the opposite side of the rocks where st marks and wakilla river meet across the chann...

talked to a friend that went out same day said they hooked over 40 trout with small to decent size ones and caught a 60 pound cobia and lost the second one at the boat. said they were at the second pole for the stake line.

we fish them when ever the surrounding oyster/sand bars have fast churning water running over them. find the pockets where water is running over and then drops off mainly red fish if your fishing in shallow fast water i found out trout will be on the outskirts in the slower tad bit deeper water

went out st marks hit the water at around 1030 water was extremely low and water temp was around 72 heading out water was smooth almost like glass. went straight to st marks reef pulled up no other boats drop bait caught sea bass and sand perch used the sand perch as cut up bait and through them bac...
