Re: For you fishing report junkies
Do you dock your boat right there to the left before you get to the old marina area if you're headed out? I'll be at Keaton a lot over the next few weeks with the early scallop season.

Re: Good Tide?
I'm thinking about heading out there tomorrow to go see the infamous Pinhook entrance for the first time ever in person. Is it safe in a Gheenoe? I'll turn my happy self around at the first sign of trouble with my pride intact. I know the Aucilla from top to...almost the bottom lol! Anything below ...

Re: Good Tide?
Ok you guys got my no tide understanding self scratching my head. What is a good tide? Then, where should the tides be for me to safety go out of aucilla with a tunnel hull boat. (floats real shallow). You'd better be careful at the Aucilla on low, tunnel hull or not. My best advice for the aucilla...

Re: Keaton 6/4
I am not sure what kind of shark it was, but the last time we were at KB there was a 7-8 foot shark right next to the first channel marker coming out of the canal. Was the first time I had ever seen a shark of that size in KB. Made me very excited to go scalloping in a couple of weeks. I few years ...

Re: Keaton 6/4
With the lack of rain, the inshore salinity level rises and the sharks and rays move in. Now that we are having rain, I suspect you won't see many other than bulls up close. However, every time you jump out of the boat into the ocean, you are no longer the apex predator. Beware. Just so long as it'...

Re: Taylor County Parking Permits
Steinhatchee bait and tackle shack posted the following on their Facebook page: Great news! The Taylor County Boat Ramp fees will remain the same for at least 90 days, $20 annually and $5 per day. There will be a Boat Ramp Work Shop, in which all business owners will be included, scheduled to discus...

Re: Keaton 6/4
Watch out for those tiger sharks. I just about peed my pants as one cruised within a few feet of me while I was wadefishing last year, just to let me know he was king of the creek. I hightailed it to the bank. We may have bigger brains, but they sure seem to know that they outrank us as apex predat...

Re: 2017 CCA STAR Tournament
I was all about this when I I first heard about it then realized I had to be in the guide division and only tagged redfish a client caught counted from what I understand. I'm in in case I catch one but not really all in like I wanted to be.
