***HELP***Need a place to fish for my men's church group

I need suggestions or recommendations for a good place for approximately 30 men (ages 12+) to fish on June 25th from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. I'd prefer a private pond and am willing to pay a rental fee . Catch and release is not a problem. We are just trying to have a fun time fellowshipping and fishing. ...

The saltwater has taken it's toll on my trailer. I need another trailer. Anyone know of any great deals?

Yep, I tried a chartreuse grub on a jig that I call the 'Last Resort' and I usually get some action on it. I didn't and was defeated. So, I didn't throw anything else.

I will keep it in mind for the next time.

St. Marks 6-25

Left LH 6:35 a.m. looking to head to Grey Mare area since the weather forecast seemed to be wrong. Engine hot warning light and sound came on and I notice the pee hole wasn't working and the engine started smoking. Cut the engine and cleaned out the hole. (I am going to talk Chalk's advice to put th...

Too Hot!!!

As I mentioned in a previous post, I got a fish finder with a temperature gauge. Now, I can monitor temperatures as I move along the flats. Last weekend when I fished the temperature was 79 to 80 degrees and my suspicion is that it would have been better fishing if it were cooler. At what water temp...

St. Marks 5-14

Was supposed to work all day, but the draw of beautiful weather and 1-2 ft seas forced me to put work off until another day (obviously, I am self-employed). Besides, I just bought a new depth finder and had some flush mounted rod holders installed and they needed to be tested! Got to the l...

Fishing Blind on 4/20/05

Left the LH at 10:30 a.m. After 4 months of boat inactivity I couldn't find my GPS, my depthfinder would not work and my tolling motor wasn't working either. Decided to go east but not too far since I was extremely paranoid of hitting rocks since the last time out I had $1,100 of lower unit damage c...

Waders

I want to buy one for occassional use. My limited research has found price ranges from 29.99 to 269.99.

Will rubber waders do the job of do I need to pay the extra money for Neoprene (sp?)

Does the age old adage apply, you get what you pay for?
