Has anyone ever caught or heard of catching Blue Crabs near the Ochlockonee River state park? What about Redfish in that area?

AN AVID FISHERMAN
A funeral procession pulled into a cemetery. Several carloads of family members followed a black truck towing a boat with a coffin in it. A passer-by remarked, "That guy must have been a very avid fisherman." "Oh, he still is," remarked one of the mourners. As a matter of fact, h...

I'm originally from New Orleans and had never heard the word black bass till I moved here 48 years ago. I grew up catching GREEN TROUT.
We had neutral grounds too, not medians. And banquettes, not gutters.

Freshwater fishing is a welcome change now and then. Even if its a farm pond. We anticipated catching some Blue Gill perch or freshwater water catfish. We fished for about a half hour without catching anything but did notice a rather bad smell coming from the water in the pond. Upon further investig...

ELEPHANT GRASS
Spent most of the morning looking for the elusive ELEPHANT GRASS I had heard about. Found a small patch. Caught one. Bait? Peanuts.
Slow day.

Re: first time at Oyster Bay
If after all the spoon and plug advice you still are looking for grass, head out the channel, (the one that takes you to Spring Creek), head off shore out to the last square green marker on your right, then take a right turn about 10 degrees off the marker. There is a long reef that runs almost to D...

I haven't eaten blue crabs in a few years and they are selling for around 15-00 a dozen. Can anyone suggest where I could go to catch some. I have three traps, and getting fish heads isn't a problem. I don't want to put them out in open water because the commercial guys would steal them in a heart b...

Re: SCALLOPS
Well, what it looks like if you're swimming in 4' of water you don't need a buoy or a flag. But if you put on a mask you do.

SCALLOPS
I have family coming to town this weekend. They want to go wading for scallops. Without the use of a boat, where can I take them where they can wade out and look for scallops? Also, what are the rules for needing a dive flag if you are not snorkeling out of a boat? Any advise?
Thanks,
Charlie

BOAT POSTING
A while back I posted a flats boat I'm trying to sell. As time went by it was superseded by newer posts pushing it way down in the pile.
My question is, is there a way to rejuvenate the posting to get it back closer to the top?
Any advise?
Thanks,
Charlie

After all of that, don't you think they should have eaten the fish?
