Fishedout - almost

The little boat got a little rocky today. Started at noon, not much at first but picked up around 2:00. East of LH and all caught with shrimp under CT in 3-4. Ran out of shrimp! Nothing on two different assassin colors. By 4:30 my rider got some spray and bouncing around back to the landing. Keepers...

Outfished

They did it again! Off from the LH at 9:30 with live shrimp under popping corks (yeh the old style) and some EQ's with silver speckled assassins underneath. Weather started questionably but turned out to be a small boaters dream. Stayed till 4:30 just East of the LH in 3-5. All told 6 trout- 2 to ke...

towed boat

Anyone hear about a boat whose crew forgot to use the bilge pump, went 30 miles? grouper fishing only to have the boat swamp when they stopped. As the story goes, they were in the water long enough to get a good coppertone and someone found them some time later. Supposedly, the boat was "a bigg...

Almost Lighthouse

Boss let me off after lunch Friday and had to retrieve the girls from Gammies. With all the trout reports and a too small rig for the winds, what does one do? We made it almost to the LH and put in at right side pool. One of the few good choices in life!! Specks and screams... made for fantastic Dad...
