Re: 3,750 acres of public land near Lake Miccosukee for sale

What makes North Florida/South Georgia so nice are the large tracts of undeveloped land and limited population as compared to the rest of the respective states. The State of Florida holding title to this land rea...

Re: 3,750 acres of public land near Lake Miccosukee for sale
I tend to be very conservative on most issues. That being said, one of the best uses of government is the concept of public lands. Here is a large tract of land (including wet lands) owned by the State of Florida that has very little potential to generate revenue. One condition of the sale is for a ...

Re: Cleaning scallops
Used to take all of my daughter's friends out when she was growing up. As the only adult cleaning I would use the shopvac method once home. I had a separate shopvac I found at a garage sale just for that purpose.

Re: Lake Hall 6/10/13
Crickets? Beetle Spins? Popping Bugs? Never have had much love from Lake Hall. Used to sneak in from across the Park in the late 70s and fish at night in my younger days. We would catch some bass but never like what we were catching at Jackson during that time.
Re: Pulleys?
If Wilderness Way or Kevins doesn't have what you need you could try West Marine.

Re: Cooking Trout
Olive oil and Lawrey's Seasoning Salt. Put them on a hot grill. As good as trout are I prefer a small spanish. Cook them hot where the edge gets a little crispy but the filet is not over cooked..... made myself hungry.

Very nice. Your son will remember and thank you for your leadership role later in life, just like I thank my Dad.
