Re: Need boat buying advice
Here's a picture of my Panga, it's a Backwater 18 by Andros. It will get as skinny as you need around here and will handle more than I'm willing to put it through. It's only 18' so I don't go too far out with it. Sounds like a 22' would be good for what you're looking to do. My only complaint is a l...

Lots of scallopers out today, water clarity was not good. Not sure how the scallopers did, but the red fishing was good.

Re: nonskid deck cleaning, waxing, etc.???
Starbrite nonskid deck cleaner with ptef works good, it cleans and protects. You can get it at West Marine. I buy the big jug and poor it into spray bottles.

Re: what boat to get?
While you're exploring boats take a look at the Andros 22 or Panga Marine 22. Pangas aren't for everyone, but they definitely fit what you're looking for.

Re: Truck goes into the water...TWICE!
My wife and I have a fool proof system that insures she won't have a ramp accident. She doesn't go with me. Ditto on that TC   Double ditto. If she does go she waits on the dock while I load and unload. I let her load the boat once, and she broke my push pole by hitting one of the...
