trolling motor plug............
Am I just missing something obvious here or not. Here is the situation/question. Just recently purchased and installed a 24V bow mount motor. The motor has a red and a black wire, and my boat is already prewired with a receptacle. I stopped at a West Marine the other day and they had 2 plugs that wo...

Here is test info from Teleflex's web site The Teleflex fuel gauge and the level sender are designed to oper...

sending unit problem ??
I believe it's a sending unit issue, but trying to verify before I replace the unit. Here's the issue................... Fuel gauge reads full with a full tank. (31 gal) As fuel is consumed, the gauge will eventually drop to the 3/4 mark and that is where it stops. When the switch is turned off, gau...

Re: Spring Warrior 1/23
Bass Pro has a lure marketed under their XPS series that is almost identical to the Renegade. About a dollar more and they hold up fairly well.............. except for the hardware. Bought a couple last year, changed out the hardware, and still use them occasionally.

Re: Evinrude 3hp
I bought an old Johnson 4 HP a few years back and had the same symptoms you described. After a new plug and fresh gas, symptoms continued. I pulled the gas tank off and cleaned thoroughly, along with replacing the fuel line and spraying the carb with sea foam. The old fuel/oil had gummed up and was ...

Re: amsoil synthetic
Thanks for the info. I have a 2004 yamaha 90 hp 2 stroker and a 1989 yamaha 150hp that I am considering changing to the amsoil synthetic. The 90hp I purchased over the summer has been run with Pennzoil semi synth. since day 1 according to the previous owner, so I have continued with the same oil. Th...

amsoil synthetic
Anyone use their outboard synthetic products? Looking for some real world feedback rather than what's on print. Is it actually any better than the other synthetics on the market? Cost wise, we're not talking that much difference. Thanks
