Re: 2004 Yamaha 90hp 2 stroke

Can't answer that question for you. However back in the 80's, my uncle had a 14 or 15 ft. Mckee with a 70 Johnson. It would scoot! Maybe someone can chime in and answer your question.. What's the HP rating for the boat?

Re: 2004 Yamaha 90hp 2 stroke

Great price for a clean workhorse engine. You might want to list on Florida Sportsman and The Hull Truth as well, Killswitch. Won't last long. PS. Just posted a link on micro skiff.com for you. That's a popular engine for flats skiffs, so maybe it'll produce more leads. Good luck! Thanks for the le...

Re: 2004 Yamaha 90hp 2 stroke

That 90 is a workhorse. My pa in law has an 08. Cranks on the first turn and runs like a scaulded dog. Looks really clean. Glws Yes it is. Spark plugs and lower unit oil been all it's needed. Non ethanol gas and sea foam has also been good for it. Found a clean low hour yam 115 about the same year ...

Put an axle on my trailer last year with the 1720 on the trailer. Jack stands and a jack.......easy enough.

Re: Boat launch St. Marks to Carrabelle

I thought it looked a little different in that pic for a Wellcraft. Best boat I ever had was the Wellcraft V-20, which I should have never sold. If you ever decide to sell her, keep me in mind. :D

Re: Boat launch St. Marks to Carrabelle

Thanks, I talked to the folks a Shields last week they only do it for the boats that are stored there, we always used the Marina at Keaton until Seahag screwed it up. It was the closest for us, my boat (25cc) is just to much for me and the wife to launch at a ramp (she loves to fish but can't do an...
