There are TONS of snook in Homosassa Springs.
I had a vicious hookup that I lost near the boat last summer at the mouth of the St. Marks.
I saw the line on him and have been wondering ever since.

Google Earth has a great pic of St. Marks at low tide. Too bad it wasn't very low for their Aucilla and Econfina pics.
I used Google Earth the couple weeks ago in the fog with my BB GPS to weave through the oyster bars in the East River. I'm hoping they don't update it anytime soon.

Went Tuesday after work to the Lighthouse. Fished the oysterbars at the mouth and caught small reds all evening.
Most were right at 18". Water is tanin.

To clean them after opening, try a ShopVac with an inch of sharp metal taped to the edge of the nozzle to cut off any tissue. Bleach the filter after.
