I have a trout trip Friday out of St Marks and plan on going East. I'll look around and give a report.

Re: Upcoming Goliath Grouper Workshops
The Panhandle has way too many of them. Any large piece of structure or reef will likely have several of them waiting to steal your catch. If you have heavy enough tackle to get one to the boat it will likely look like its wearing braces from all the hooks in its mouth. I would fully support a tag s...

Re: Angler Ethics?
Going to show my ignorance. What's a googan? Kinda got a pic in my mind from the context of the thread. Googan. A fishing (not sexual) term for lowlife, shore(bank) fishermen who baitfish typically without a license, regard to regulations, and etiquette towards other people, especially other fisher...

Although not happy we had to put on our big boy pants and go to the next spot. Common courtesy is pretty scarce thes...

It was a previous experience at this same ramp that keeps me from ever using it during daylight again. With the amount of money coming out of that ramp they really need to regulate it more.

Creeks without tributaries may be safe. I got a good report from the creeks near Econfina from yesterday. We couldn't buy a trout East or West of St Marks yesterday on the flats.

Wherever you go stay away from the river mouths. Tons of freshwater still dumping out there.

Re: St Marks 6/3
We have the luxury of having boats in the water and living close to the water. If I was a couple hours away there is no way I would have been on the water this weekend according to the forecast.

Re: St Marks 6/3
We have been fishing down outside the rock gardens and doing really well on pearl white gulp. Today, because of the weather we opted to stay closer. We went west fishing in 6 foot of water over patchy bottom and did well. We had to work for them and move around quite a bit but ended up with a good m...

At least your club wouldn't be bringing in illegal fish.
