Re: Passive-Aggressive in St Marks Refuge
Another few weeks and they can two stroke through those holes and it won’t matter.
Just put the poles down when you see them coming and start back fishing when the wake settles.

Re: Keaton Beach nov3-5
It’s been really good most days when the pressure and wind associated with these fronts don’t have them crossed up.

Re: Local Boat Ramp Status?
Aucilla is good to go. Only thing is the little cleaning table is gone.silverking wrote:Thanks Blue Spinner.
I'll check on the Fort ramp status in St. Marks tomorrow. Anyone have a new report on the floating dock at the Aucilla ramp?
That’s the lower, I’m not sure about Nutall.

Re: Fishing Report
I don't facebook either but was able to watch the report. All seems fine to me. AI/Evan - Thanks for the report! I liked it, especially the dude talking about fishing on surface. I'm coming down to fish in a few weeks and while I am pretty much FFO (fly fish only) I have some surface flies that I'm...

Re: Fishing Report
You use the tools you have. I have read this board for years, since I was old enough to fish the coast on my own and my Dad read it before that. While I think the interface could use updating this forum is the best source of information for fishing our area on the internet. You can pretty much find ...

Fishing Report
In addition to the usual fishing report and November outlook, we are at Harry Smith Outdoors in Tallahassee to talk a little coastal kayak fishing. Harry guides kayak fishing trips and Eco tours in our area.

Yeah I was out there as well, too smooth. Smooth was nice for early morning top water but no wind and minimal tide movement had the fish lazy.

Re: Road Conditions btwn TLH and the Fort at St. Marks
I just checked my work email and the office is going to be closed tomorrow. Maybe I should try fishing. Has anyone driven down from Tallahassee to fort at St. Marks? Are the roads safe and clear? Is the boat ramp in good shape? People are struggling to clean up and might throw rocks at you but it's...

Yes some of those are sand trout.
And yes we caught some on popping corks but it was more about location than bait. We threw a lot of corks because of all the floating grass, that way the cork catches the grass and not your bait.

Re: st marks this weekend
This was from my couple of trips last weekend out of St Marks. In some places I could see bottom in 4 feet of water. You might want to change up your tactics, the calendar my read October but the weather pattern is still telling the fish summer.

Re: Anyone fishing?
Fishing all the time, it’s August and hot. Some days are okay some are not. Redfish are spread out everywhere and hard to nail down. Run and gun can be good right now but you have to catch them feeding otherwise you are just burning fuel.
