I spent the day grounded about 1/2 mile inside tripod. I could see
four other boats grounded also. One Scandy-White and a couple of
airboats were the only craft I saw make it out!
Thank goodness for warm clothes and a radio.

I'd keep going toward Rock Island...haven't been able to catch any
trout over 30" up toward Aucilla.

Trying to get my Econfina sunrise pic back
after changes on fishingworks storage site...can't get to work on FS forum although one of moderators got it to work....go figure

Love the 10# on light to ML spinning outfits used with 2' section fluorocarbon leader 15-25# for jigs to medium weight plugs. Set drag quite light! I've tried 20# size and don't care for feel of it on same reels. One suggestion is to stretch out good before casting...seems to make a difference! Good...
