Thanks for the replies! I just want to make sure we can practice with the paddle board without gators coming to visit.

How to make shock leader

I am trying to catch shark and I had a large circle hook with a stainless steel leader connected a 65 lb braided line with a mullet that was about 1/2 a pound. I cast out fine the first time but after that the line snapped. I did it again and it snapped. I was told to use a shock leader. How do I ma...

Re: Which Kayak to buy at Sporting Goods Store

Ok, do you know stores around Tallahassee or close to Tallahassee that I can go look at them?
Any particular model you recommend?
I am trying to keep it around an $700 budget or less.

Paul Browns softbait lures for saltwater

Has anyone used Paul Brown's softbait lures for saltwater fishing?
I plan to fish the surf and bridge in St George and I was recommended to use Paul Browns Devil and Fat Boy for spotted trout and redfish.
Has anyone tried it?

St George Island surf report for 3/8/15

Since it warmed up and the temperature was about 65%, I decided to go check out St George Island on 10th st beach entrance. The wind was blowing lightly and the surf was a little rough. The water was murky. I was able to wade up to my knees without freezing. I was fishing from 2 pm to 5 pm. The sky ...
