Re: Franklin County Reconsidering the Closure of Boat Ramps?

Mudducker I agree 100% the Franklin county sheriff's office has been overreaching there power to say the least and it's unfortunately going to affect business in Franklin county that are already struggling as it is. Coastal businesses have to make there living 8-9 month out the year and this year th...

Re: Franklin County Reconsidering the Closure of Boat Ramps?

I've seen several people calling for boycotting Franklin county for both there treat of arrest and closing boat ramps to the outside community. At the same time I seen a report done with business owners on St. George island who have said they planned on the lack of traffic every year but the additio...

Re: Carrabelle closes boat ramps to all non resident

I don’t wish any bad to the business owners in that town. I have always given high praise to The Moorings, C-Quarters and a few other businesses. Just doesn’t make since for it to be OK for one group of people to use a facility but not let any other groups. Close it to ALL. I guess they like the wa...

Re: Carrabelle closes boat ramps to all non resident

Maybe a little over the top In the way it came out however a bit of respect for people who have devoted not only time and money to said community in aspects other than personal gain. I've prised carrabelle business and people to friends and family as a community that didn't only care about the dolla...

Preferred hooks for bottom fishing

I've used mustad and daiichi hooks for years with no issue but over the last few months I've had some issues. In the size 2/0 and 3/0 hooks I've broken or straighten 6 of these hooks in last 2 trips, the ultra point mustad straighted on 2 occasion and the daiichi have snapped 4 hooks just behind the...

Re: Are we allowed to fish?

Seems Florida understands fishing is essential just hope GA follows suit so I'm not pulled over on that 10 miles stretch to the line while hauling boat.

Can't find the triggers

Just bought a new boat, with old boat I was use to St. Marks area. Last few years without a boat I've hit up Panama City boat rentals and found several nice triggerfish holes, but with new boat I'm hitting up carribelle area pretty regularly and coming up empty handed on the triggerfish. So what am ...

Re: K Tower

Started to head out to K tower myself today but forgot the extra fuel tank for the boat so only had 12 gallons on board. So I hit a few locations just inside federal line trying to find some mango. One stop produced good bites but ended up with red snapper after red snapper after red snapper....atle...

Hello!!!! been awhile since i visited this site. Got a new boat and was planning a trip out at St. Marks tomorrow morning. Thinking about putting in at the light house.
