Wow. Have you thought of:
1) Contacting a Lincoln historian? You might start by calling the Lincoln Museum in Hodgenville, KY.
2) Insuring the post card.
That is a great piece of American history. What a great find.

Re: Scoop Sea's Oil Spill Thread
Looks like PCB just barely got touched and then the wind took it all west. They had tar balls but they were cleaned up quickly. VERY quickly. It was like an easter egg hunt at the beach. My Dad, a PC'er said the sheen was 3 miles off the coast when the wind took it west. Wow. That was close. My wife...

It is pretty late for spawning as well. I was thinking the water temp would have been too high for a spawner. But, whatever......

I have a feelin' ol' BB will be sittin on top of somethin out there in the Bay, but it won't be a yak. (He would have to clean all the oil goop off it) That's not the reason it wouldn't be a yak. Re: Panacea 6-12
I've taken a lady fish fillet and cut it up the middle about 3 inches or so from the tail end of the fillet to make "tails". Kind of like a jig trailer for bass. (the pig part of a jig and pig) Hook it through the thick end and free line it or put it under a CT. The scale side puts off a l...
