Re: Status of Mashes Sands Boat Ramp?
Was wondering if you could launch a 20' bay boat at the Ochlockonee Bay Boat Ramp on the SW side of the bridge at say mid-tide or higher? If so would it require a four-wheel drive truck to do so? Just looking on google earth it appears the ramp is covered in sand at a lower tide. Not sure if that's ...

Ochlocknee Bay storm aftermath
I fish this area several times a year and was wondering how the bottom topography might have been affected by the storm? I've seen a report where ancient ships have been unearthed on Dog Island so I can only imagine that underwater reefs, inshore bars, etc are probably rearranged . Also was wonderin...

Nice catch on the Goliath. Those things are getting to be too plentiful and maybe time for a season IMO. Where were ya'll fishing out of if you don't mind me asking?

Re: Carrabelle 5/19 - Nearshore grouper and snapper
We had the same issue with Goliath's and sharks a couple of weeks ago out of Lanark in state waters. Had (2) gags bit in half on way up and also hooked a couple of those freight trains (Goliaths). They seem to be getting pretty abundant. I heard there might be a lottery or something to start taking ...

Now that's a great trip! Do you mind sharing the approx depth you were in and how far out. The reason I ask is that I too have a bay boat and am limited as to how far I can go out.

Re: St. Marks report

We also fished some bars for reds for a couple hours with zero results. The water was really murky from all the churning from the winds and t...

Not sure about the full length version of the trailer hitch deal but google the one where the snake falls out of the tree on top of him in the boat.....talk about hilarious!
