Re: Stick-It-Pole Anchor Pins
I have the 8' w/ out the brake. A friend has the brake and when the conditions are some what rough, the up and down of the boat tends to make it come loose. I just use the rope that came with it. I use the small rope for keeping the boat straight on the sandbars at the Flint.

Re: Stick-It-Pole Anchor Pins
I love mine! I've got a 17' Key West Sportsman and it holds great. I've used in up to 15 kt winds with a pretty strong tide and had no problems. I've even used it as a push pole in a pinch.

Planes @ St. Marks Saturday
As I was making my way back into the ramp at the lighthouse (after an unsuccessful day of fishing) I saw a couple of planes putting on quite a show over the flats. Did anyone else see this? I'm sure plenty of folks did, as it appeared to be out over the pile of boats scalloping.

Re: Cedar Key
Cedar key is one of my favorite places to fish. There are plenty of places to do well without going nearly as far north. There are plenty of flats and little key islands right around cedar key or you can go north to the preacher hole area( shows up on google maps). You can put a small boat or yak a...

Re: Cedar Key
Not quite Cedar Key, but it isn't that far by boat. The area around Buoy #4 coming out of the mouth of the Suwanee has been an incredibly productive spot in my experience. A GPS and a fish finder should put you exactly in the hole I speak of. If you head out a bit further from that spot there is a ...

Cedar Key
Planning on heading to Cedar Key at the end of this month. My wife and I are looking for a place to stay first of all, any input? Also, any general locations and navigation tips for reds and trout would be helpful. Thanks!

Lanark Reports?
Going to go down and fish out of Lanark this Saturday. I usually fish St. Marks, does anyone have any reports/tips for inshore Lanark, Dog Island Reef or Dog Island? Also, does anyone know of Lanark Market sells fishing license?

Sitting here watching Addictive Fishing and they are catching triple tail. I usually fish out of St. Marks, do we have them around here and has anyone ever had any luck targeting them. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Boat Wiring
Had my accessory switch die on me which runs my bottom machine. I changed out the switch, but by the time it came in the mail I had forgot which plug went where. After popping a few fuses I think I got it right, but the bottom machine only beeps when I press the power button. Nothing comes on the sc...
