Re: Lake Miccosukee

I went out yesterday and its pretty low folks. South of Rococo, I would be very careful, especially with an outboard. Wear your kill cords and lifejackets. If anyone is doing any early morning, predawn running around be VERY careful. Boat trails are not a guarantee.

Re: What's the deal?

So for those of us looking...is it about to be a good time to buy? Is the end of the summer when a lot of people usually sell boats?

Landscaping stuff question

I need some fill dirt and some mulch or woodchips for my kid's playground area. Anyone have any preferences for where I can get this stuff? Thanks

Re: Oil booms off Alligator Point

They were actually there last weekend and seemed to be running behind even at that. The reason I say that is there were a bunch or workers at the Lanark ramp just hanging around and when we asked them what they were doing, they said they were there to inspect the booms, but they were not out yet. We...

Re: Scalloping?

I agree...not sure about the early start date. Kinda like opening duck season early, before they show up. Good luck to those of you who do go. Maybe it will decrease the craziness usually associated with opening weekend.

Lanark-ish REPORT

Back on the water this morning after a bit of time away since the birth of our new daughter. We moved through the Lanark boat ramp DO-SI-DO with little fanfare and got on the water probably around 8:15 or so. Water was clear, not moving a whole lot, but with the wind, we were able to get a nice drif...

Re: SGI - Guided day report

We were in it so much, we didnt put a measure to it, but it was a career fish for us. I would love to brag specifically, but she was bigger than our upper slot reds.

Wow...and its not even scallop season yet!! Cant wait if this is a sign of things to come. I drove past the Lanark landing on Sat afternoon and it looked like a nightmare too.

SGI - Guided day report

A few months ago, I asked you guys about Robinson Bros guide service and promised a report. We got on the water around 9:30 with what looked to be a bunch of other guys pre-fishing the tourney. Fished with Nathan and he did a nice job, was a lot of fun and worked really hard to get us on the fish. T...
